Counseling
Dr. Lavery has been counseling for over 20 years. He has worked at facilities such as Spectrum Program, Coral Ridge Psychiatric Hospital (Rapha unit) and Turning Point, and was Director of Treatment Services at the Drug Abuse Foundation.

He has specialized in desertion, addictions, depression, suicidal ideation, and others associated with the illnesses of axis 1 and 2 of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

Restoration & Beyond's therapeutic model is somewhat behavioral in its approach. Dr Lavery concetrates on what is termed "reality therapy." This is where we analyze your present world and identify hidden issues that have become barriers in your life. Then together, we plan a dynamic application of how we can move forward.
